MacBook Air

The MacBook Air is Apple's most affordable notebook, offering a solid compromise between cost, performance, and size. In March 2026, Apple updated the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air with its latest M5 chip. The M5 chip in the MacBook Air features a 10-core CPU, with what Apple calls the world's fastest CPU cores. It offers configurations with up to 10 GPU cores with Neural Accelerators in each core, delivering up to 4x faster performance for AI tasks than the MacBook Air with the M4 chip. In addition to the M5 chip, the MacBook Air now contains Apple's custom N1 wireless chip for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 connectivity. The MacBook Air now starts with 512GB of storage and continues to be configurable up to 4TB. To read more on the MacBook Air, check out our MacBook Air roundup. Price comparison for the 13-inch MacBook Air (2026) shows that the base model with 8-core GPU, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD starts at $1,243 on Amazon, while other retailers are at $1,299. The 15-inch model with 10-core GPU, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD is available for as low as $1,349 on Adorama, compared to $1,499 elsewhere. These savings can be substantial, especially for students and professionals looking for a portable powerhouse.

MacBook Pro

The MacBook Pro is the most powerful notebook Apple sells, and Apple just updated it with the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 Pro starts at $2,199, while the 16-inch starts at $2,699. The 14-inch M5 Max model starts at $3,599, and the 16-inch at $3,899. The M5 Pro and M5 Max chips are both built on a new Fusion Architecture that bonds two third-generation 3nm dies into a single chip using advanced packaging. Both chips feature an 18-core CPU, which is up from the 14-core and 16-core designs of the M4 Pro and M4 Max, respectively. In terms of battery life, Apple says it tops out at 24 hours on the 16-inch model, and that users can fast-charge to 50 percent in 30 minutes with a 96W or higher USB-C adapter. Current deals show the 14-inch MacBook Pro (Early 2026) with 15-core M5 Pro, 24GB RAM, and 1TB SSD available at Amazon for $2,351.79, while Best Buy and others are at $2,499. The 16-inch model with 18-core M5 Pro and 24GB RAM is priced at $2,818.34 on Amazon, compared to $2,949-$2,999 elsewhere. These discounts are timely as Apple recently increased prices on some configurations.

The M4 iMac comes in a range of fun colors – Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Purple, Silver, and Yellow – and features a new nano-texture display option, as well as significant speed and efficiency improvements thanks to the M4 chip. These deals make the iMac a compelling choice for creative professionals who need a powerful all-in-one setup.

Mac mini

The Mac mini is Apple's most affordable and compact desktop computer, positioned as a "bring your own" machine that comes without a mouse, keyboard, or display. Apple in October 2024 introduced new Mac mini models based on an Apple M4 and M4 Pro chip, offering faster performance in a considerably smaller design. The new M4 Mac mini marks the first time that the product has been redesigned in over a decade. Pricing for the M4 models start at $599, and for more information about the Mac mini, make sure to check out our Mac mini roundup. Mac Pro

The Mac Pro is Apple's desktop machine for professionals. An all-new Mac Pro was announced in June 2023, marking the first update for the machine in four years. The new Mac Pro has the all-new M2 Ultra chip, which features a 24-core CPU, up to a 76-core GPU, and support for up to 192GB of memory. In terms of design, it sports the overall same look as the previous Intel-based model, but it now comes with eight Thunderbolt 4 ports instead of four, two higher-bandwidth HDMI ports, seven PCIe expansion slots, dual 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and a headphone jack. Currently, only B&H Photo lists the base model at $6,999, with other retailers showing no stock. This is a niche product for video editors and 3D artists who need absolute power.

Mac Studio

Apple in March 2022 announced the powerful new "Mac Studio" desktop computer, which is meant to be paired with the Studio Display external monitor. The Mac Studio is 3.7-inches tall and it looks similar to a larger Mac mini. In March 2025, Apple unveiled the third-generation Mac Studio with M4 Max and M3 Ultra chips. The overall design of the Mac Studio has not changed. The front of the computer has two Thunderbolt 5 or USB-C ports depending on the configuration and an SD card slot, while the rear side has four Thunderbolt 5 ports, an HDMI port, a 10-Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, a headphone jack, a power cord connector, and a power button. Paired with the 27-inch Studio Display, Apple's new setup is now replacing the 27-inch iMac as the company's high-end desktop computer solution. The Studio Display has a slim all-aluminum enclosure, 5K resolution, up to 600 nits of brightness, support for the P3 wide color gamut and over one billion colors, a built-in stand that allows the user to tilt the display up to 30 degrees, an A13 Bionic chip that powers advanced camera and audio features, and more. It's less expensive than the iPad Pro but offers many of the same features, while it's substantially more expensive than the $349 entry-level 11-inch iPad. The new 11-inch and 13-inch models continue to have a 12-megapixel Center Stage front camera, 12-megapixel Wide rear camera, Touch ID power button, USB-C port with up to 10 Gbps data transfer speeds, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6. AirPods

The AirPods are Apple's totally wire-free earbuds that are meant to compensate for the lack of a headphone jack on modern iPhones. Available for $129 for the base model and $179 for the model with Active Noise Cancellation, the AirPods 4 feature a refined fit, improved audio with dynamic head tracking, a force sensor on the stem to play and pause media, and the smallest case yet on any AirPods model. With the debut of the AirPods 4, Apple has stopped selling the AirPods 2 and the AirPods 3, although third-party retailers may continue to have stock for a while. In fall 2025, Apple introduced AirPods Pro 3 for $249, with upgraded H3 chip, better Active Noise Cancellation, better in-ear fit, upgraded audio, and IP57 sweat and water resistance. Specifically, Apple said that AirPods Pro 3 feature 2x better ANC than AirPods Pro 2, and 4x better ANC than the original AirPods Pro. Lastly, in March 2026 Apple debuted the AirPods Max 2 for $549. The AirPods Max 2 feature the H2 chip, increased active noise cancellation, improved sound quality, Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, and Live Translation. The new AirPods Max have the same overall design as the previous generation, with most of the new features coming from the upgrade to the H2 chip. Current deals include AirPods 4 for $99 on Amazon, AirPods 4 with ANC for $144.99, AirPods Pro 3 for $199.99, and AirPods Max 2 for $497. These are among the best prices we've seen in weeks.

Apple discontinued the original HomePod in early 2021, but in January 2023 it brought back the full-sized model at a $299 price tag. Apple also sells the HomePod mini, which offers a scaled-down smart speaker experience priced at just $99. The HomePod mini is based on the S5 chip from the Apple Watch Series 5 and offers 360-degree sound in a roughly spherical shape that's just 3.3 inches tall. iPhone accessories are popular gifts, and Apple has offered a trio of magnetic charging options for recent iPhone models under its MagSafe branding. An updated MagSafe Charger with 1-meter and 2-meter cable options was introduced in September 2024, supporting faster 25-watt charging for the iPhone 16 lineup. Another updated model in 1-meter and 2-meter versions was released in September 2025 with full Qi2.2 support for 25-watt charging of not just iPhones but also devices from other manufacturers with Qi2.2 support. AirTag is another iPhone-related accessory introduced in April 2021. AirTags, available in one-packs and four-packs, are small trackers that can be inserted into or attached to easily misplaced items like keys and bags and then tracked using the Find My app on an iOS device or Mac.
