WWDC 2026 – June 8
WWDC 2026 kicks off on June 8 with a keynote focused on software and AI. Apple will preview iOS 27, macOS 27, and other platform updates. The star of the show is a revamped Siri with chatbot-like capabilities powered by AI, accessible via a standalone app and the Dynamic Island on iPhones. New Apple Intelligence features will enhance Photos editing, Camera’s Visual Intelligence, and wallpaper generation.
September 2026
The fall lineup is dominated by the iPhone 18 Pro and the long-rumored iPhone Fold. The iPhone 18 Pro features a smaller Dynamic Island, a variable aperture main lens similar to a DSLR, and an A20 Pro chip on a 2nm process with Apple’s C2 modem. A dark cherry color option is expected. The iPhone Fold adopts a book-style design with a 5.3-inch external display that unfolds to 7.6 inches, boasting a 4.5mm thickness when open. It uses an A20 chip, dual rear cameras, and a Touch ID power button instead of Face ID, priced around $2,500. The Apple Watch Series 12 gets a chip refresh but no major redesign. The iPad mini 8 upgrades to an OLED display and gains an A20 chip, along with a water-resistant design that eliminates speaker holes using vibration-based speakers. Apple also plans a new HomePod mini 2 with an updated S-series chip, though its release depends on Siri improvements. The Home Hub, a 7-inch iPad-like display for smart home control, will come in wall-mounted and speaker-base models. Finally, the Apple TV 4K will be refreshed with an A17 Pro processor, Apple Intelligence support, and a custom Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chip.
Late 2026
Toward the end of the year, Apple is expected to launch a touchscreen OLED MacBook Pro with an M6 chip, hole-punch camera, and reinforced hinge for touch gestures. An Apple Smart Home Camera for HomeKit integration is also rumored for late 2026.
Products With Unknown Release Dates
Several devices remain in the pipeline without confirmed timing. The Mac Studio will receive M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, while the Mac mini is expected with M5 and M5 Pro options (codenames J873g and J873s). A low-cost iPad 12 will feature the A19 chip from the iPhone 17. AirPods 5 will get an H3 chip with improved sound and latency, and next-gen AirPods Pro may add an infrared camera for in-air gestures. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is in development, and an M5 Max iMac could revive the iMac Pro. Apple is also exploring AI smart glasses with cameras, speakers, and no display, possibly launching in 2026 before a 2027 release.
2027 Launches
Apple is adopting a split launch strategy. The iPhone 18 (non-Pro) and iPhone 18e will arrive in spring 2027 rather than fall 2026. The 20th anniversary iPhone in September 2027 will feature a bezel-less display with an under-display selfie camera and curved edges. Other 2027 products include a lighter AirPods Max with H2 chip, an M6 iPad Pro with vapor chamber cooling, a 24-inch OLED iMac, a second-generation iPhone Air with dual cameras, and a tabletop robot with a robotic arm.
2026 Product Refresh Timeline So Far
Apple has already released several products in 2026: AirTag 2 in January, and in March the iPhone 17e, MacBook Neo, M5 Pro/Max MacBook Pro, M5 MacBook Air, M4 iPad Air, Studio Display and Studio Display XDR, and AirPods Max 2. This guide will be updated as new information emerges.
